JaJa Clay is opening up four dedicated ceramic studio spaces… Each studio space will afford the member full access to the communal clay spaces, wheels, kilns, pug mill, extruder, slab roller, community and more. The shelves in the picture look small but they are quite large and each shelf is 4’ wide and 2’deep. These are perfect for (a maximum) of two people to share.💕Sign up now for a dedicated studio space and the rest of July is free.💥 JaJa Clay is located in the heart of JaJa PDX one of Portland's most exciting art spaces and circus school. It is a lovely space just waiting to be put to use. ❤️ JaJa PDX has 3 Skutt Kilns, 5 professional wheels and tables for hand building. Membership is going to be 20 or less and the cost without dedicated space recently was lowered to $165/month. We area grass roots clay studio... come see if we are right for you. We are looking for self directed practitioners who want a space outside their home. We are open 24/7 so access is excellent. We will still have approximately 10-15 memberships that have no dedicated space. Studio 1: Walled studio 9’x12’, is the most private space and overlooks the industrial floor. It does not have shelving installed but has two usable walls and full access to the space. $550 (6month-12month contract) Studio 2: East studio 8’x14’ with six large shelves and full access to the space.$500/month (6month-12month contract) Studio 3: Central studio 8’x14’ with six large shelves and full access to the space.$500/month (6month-12month contract) Studio 4: West studio 8’x14’ with six large shelves and full access to the space. $500/month (6month-12month contract) We have a support human who is amazing @slugsinthebelfry and can give support with firing but these studios will be highly independent.
