Harper needs a break. She is 8 yrs. old. Harper had been E-listed at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control for kennel deterioration last week. She was adopted by a family intending on assisting in transporting her to Tennessee to an unknown adopter. The person in Tennessee fell through, and now Harper is in a home with 4 large, younger dogs. The family cannot keep her - she is a calm, gentle girl that sleeps most of the day. She is alone in a room most of the time and is not getting the attention she needs. Her owner says Harper follows her around and perks up when someone is spending time with her. Harper has not been introduced to the other dogs in the home. She would be happiest in a home as an only dog or with another calm senior. There will be a small rehoming fee.
