Stray dog needs a loving home

Looking for someone who is willing to open their arms and give a very sick stray dog a home. He hopped into my car July 4, absolutely terrified of the fireworks. He is very calm and has been fine in the crate by himself. He needs to see a vet desperately and I just can't handle this many animals. He is very skinny and needs someone who will take the time to fatten him up back to normal weight. His stomach is large possibly due to worms or abdominal fluid. He is quiet, and has been fine around my other dog and kitten. He is a very sweet boy and deserves a loving home, and would be a perfect buddy for someone with a good heart. He is free, as long as he will be taken care of. All I ask is that I get updates on his condition. Looks to be a great dane/American bulldog mix or great dane/dogo argentino mix.
