Looking for a cat to add to our family

Hi there, I'm looking to add a cat to my family. Our other cat passed away last month and his brother has been lonely without him. Cat can be a boy or girl. Must be fixed. No kittens we want 1 year or older. We are looking for a gentle, lap loving, belly rubs, cuddly cat. Must do good around kids as we have a 13 year old who has autism and does not understand personal boundaries when it comes to animals. She is not aggressive or mean. She she likes to always being around them. Our cat that passed away was AMAZING with her. They cuddled, she got to pet him, play with him, give him belly rubs and even carry him around. Our other cat is not like that. He wants nothing to do with her and its breaking her heart. We live in independence and willing to meet up. But don't want to travel to far 30 miles max. Will pay a rehoming fee. If you have a cat that you think will fit our family please let me know. thanks, Michelle
