Seeking a 2 year foster/temporary re-home for 2 amazing tween cats

Hello! I am headed out of state for a 2 year graduate program, and have (2) healthy, neutered 1.5 year old male cats who I am hoping to temporarily rehome while I am gone. They are indoor/outdoor and let me tell you - these boys are special!! They love people, excitement, children, dogs, some cats, bugs, flowers, and exploring the neighborhood. They are affectionate, playful, and get this: they are even trained to walk OFF leash and we go on neighborhood walks most days. The fluffy white one (Kodama) does great with a harness, but the tabby (Simon)will have none of it, hence of the off-leash walks. These fellas are a genuine source of joy to the neighborhood and friends to all regular passers-by. They do well with friendly dogs, except have been known to stalk cat-size or smaller dogs. I would take them with me, but I will be in a small studio apartment without regular access to outdoors and this situation will be a source of great stress to them so I seeking a long-term foster situation instead. They have no known health issues except for some yeast in the ears which makes them itch and is treated with drops. They would be a fantastic fit for an individual, couple, or family, who wants pets that will be active participants in their daily lives and would be comfortable allowing them to be indoor/outdoor. They are used to collars with bells to protect local wildlife, and are kept inside dawn to dusk for safety. One of them is a little too friendly with cars (he loves to help neighbors unpack groceries), so being near a road with lots of traffic street would not be great. I will cover their vet care and am open to offsetting the cost of food and litter if cost is prohibitive, but will be subsisting off loans, so ideally you would pay for food and litter. They scratch furniture as is typical, but never spray. In the summer, they barely even use their littler boxes because they go outdoors. This is an unusual ask, but I think this will be a great fit for the right person/couple/family, and I can guarantee these boys will add to your quality of life!
