We are excited to announce our very first swim Prospect Camp at Salisbury University. You may have had friends who have gone to camps in other sports, but I can almost guarantee there are very few that have ever been to one for swimming. You will have a chance to: Use our facilityTry out some of our training protocolsReceive skill instructionGet evaluated by our staff as a prospective student-athlete for our programDATE & SCHEDULE Saturday, August 20, 2022 8:30 a.m. - Registration/Check-in 9:00 a.m. - Intro/Expectations 9:15 a.m. - Dryland warm up 9:45 a.m. - Swim warm up 10:15 a.m. - Chalk talk 10:30 a.m. - Skill progression 11:00 a.m. - Circuit 12:00 p.m. - End of camp 12:00-2:00 p.m. - Optional tour/info session OVERVIEW The Salisbury University Prospect Camp is designed for high school athletes grades 9-12 to introduce them to the world of NCAA DIII collegiate swimming. The one-day clinic will include a sample workout and circuit, along with specific skill instruction on relay transitions. The prospects will have an opportunity to work with the Salisbury University coaching staff, as well as some current team members. They will be put through collegiate-level drills and be taught high-level fundamentals and techniques. At that time, the coaching staff will also have the opportunity to evaluate in a small-group atmosphere. COST - $100 per registrant (Plus Eventbrite Fee) AGES - High school prospects (grades 9-12) LOCATION - Salisbury University, Maggs Physical Activities Center Pool DIRECTOR INFORMATION - Nate Parsley, Head Swim Coach REFUND POLICY - Once registration and payment have been submitted, we are not able to provide refunds for any reason. MEDICAL POLICY - A certified athletic trainer will be present for camp. Each participant should have his or her own medical insurance. A waiver form must be submitted prior to camp. COVID-19 POLICY - All participants must be (a) fully vaccinated w/ dual dose + booster, or (b)provide a negative rapid test within 24 hours of camp or PCR test within 72 hours of the event. Regardless, documentation (copy of vaccination card or negative test result) must be provided upon check-in.
