20 years ago Next Up began building youth political power in Oregon. Today, we’re an incubator for the next generation of leaders fighting for racial and social justice. Join us on August 7th to support Next Up and continue dreaming about an Oregon where all communities can thrive. Come hang with us as we celebrate youth power, envision what's next, while relaxing and enjoying music, art, oaks park rides (if you desire!), and delicious pastries and libations, all from local BIPOC businesses and youth. All ages, ADA-accessible, fully outdoors, tickets are non-refundable. Featuring ✨Sweets by Omija Home Bakes, The Kalat House, and ONO MAU GOODS Covid Safety InformationDue to the ongoing pandemic and its disproportionate impact on BIPOC, people with disabilities, and many people living at the intersections, we are taking the following precautions: hosting an entirely outdoor event at check-in requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 24 hourscapping attendance at ~100 people (the area has a capacity for 500 people)n95 and/or kn95 masks and hand sanitizer will be availableWe ask that all attendees take the following precautions: Do not attend the event if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive, or have not yet quarantined/isolated for a minimum of 5 days as recommended by the CDC.Please keep 3 feet of distance wherever possible.If you are able, please test yourself within 24 hours of arriving at the event.
