The Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant Inc. is a non-profit organization started in 2000 by Yolanda Wallace, with the headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. The organization works to provide empowerment opportunities to young ladies and men in the community who are charity driven, with a passion to proudly represent their arts and culture and to become positive role models in society. The pageant is a nationwide fundraiser that assists young ladies in pursuing their educational goals with scholarships and grants. Currently, our winner visits neighborhood schools to talk to elementary and high school children about the importance of education and non-violence. In addition, our programs are aimed at members of an underserved community and the organization holds 3 to 4 workshops annually for young men and women in the community. 1) providing Scholarship Funds 2) introducing youth to financial awareness tools 3) Arts and Fashion 4) Etiquette and multi-talent exposure. Also, we are working on a music program for all groups to learn to play the steel drums.
