*This free RSVP is only intended to help us ensure we have enough candles for everyone! If you'd like to attend anonymously or don't feel comfortable RSVP-ing here, we'd still love for you to join us!* A space for us to gather, grieve, and process as a community. We will honor and acknowledge those who have lost access to abortion care where they live, and stand in solidarity with each other here in Virginia. We'll have candles to light and hold together, as well as QR codes for donation to Blue Ridge Abortion Fund in Charlottesville and DC Abortion Fund. This vigil is for anyone seeking space to remember we aren't alone. it will be a visual representation of our feelings and commitment to taking care of each other and our reproductive rights. This event won't feature speakers or speeches, although anyone who feels compelled to or wants to share is welcome to do so! We've been looking for something like this to help us grieve and process our own feelings, while publicly standing together with others who want to show up for abortion access. After seeing someone else organize something similar in DC, we wanted to do something in our own community.
