How To Replace A Countertop - 2-Part Workshop**
Thursday, July 7, 6:30PM-8PM
Saturday, July 9, 10AM-12PM
**THIS WORKSHOP HAS 2 CLASSES, PLEASE RESERVE A TICKET FOR BOTH DATES**
Do you have an old, outdated countertop that makes your kitchen look like it‘s from the 1950s, but not in a good way? Replacing a countertop is a fast and relatively straightforward way to give your kitchen a whole new look, and is a totally possible project for DIYers, with the help of some tips and tricks!
In this 2-part workshop, students will learn how to remove an old countertop, starting by removing the sink and then the countertop itself. Next students will practice measuring and cutting a brand new laminate countertop and preparing the cabinets for installation. Finally, students will measure and cut a hole for the new sink and practice installing the countertop and then the sink.
We will be working exclusively with laminate countertop material in this class.
