We have a farm, a dog breeding kennel and a fish hatchery in Pomona Park, FL and we are looking for someone who can perform the following tasks: • Handyman Work: Everyday repairs, light carpentry, painting (with good finish work), light electrical (i.e., installing ceiling fans), sanding/staining decks, replacing screening (i.e., in windows and doors), and some plumbing as needed (i.e., repairing water lines in the barn, installing irrigation lines at the farm, adding/repairing plumbing at fish hatchery, etc.) Handyman work will be done at the farm and business. • Shipping Work: On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, may be asked to assist with shipping at the fish hatchery. • Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance: Ability to diagnose/repair some vehicle/farm equipment issues is a plus but is not required. • Some knowledge of landscaping and farm animals/large-breed dogs is a plus, but is not required. NOTE: This position is primarily outdoors and requires heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and significant physical strength.
