The Virginian Lodge is thrilled to announce its annual courtyard music series featuring singer-songwriter Father John Misty as the inaugural act on October 15, 2022. Fresh off a complete transformation encompassing 165 all-new guest rooms and suites, the lodge is welcoming locals and guests alike to congregate in the iconic central outdoor courtyard to experience the tunes of a renowned musician with a stunning mountain backdrop. Leading up to the evening’s intimate headlining act, Father John Misty, The Virginian Lodge’s courtyard will play host to local musicians, artisans, and culinary vendors when doors open to Courtyard Entry ticket holders on Saturday, 3PM. Father John Misty will take the stage at 6:30 PM. COURTYARD ENTRY SINGLE TICKET The Virginian Lodge’s outdoor courtyard features hardscaping surrounding a grassy lawn and may have some uneven terrain. All tickets are general admission with a mix of standing room and unassigned seating – a limited number of blankets and chairs will be available for use. Guests are welcome to enjoy the concert while standing, sitting, and/or dancing, however, are encouraged to be courteous to others around them. Please avoid standing on pathways obstructing concertgoers passing by and the view of those sitting on the edge of pathways.18+WEATHERThe Courtyard is an outdoor venue and shows can occur in all elements of Wyoming weather, so be prepared for adverse weather conditions, including full exposure to the sun, strong wind and even rain or snow. It is always wise to dress in layers, have a poncho on hand and to wear sunscreen. Dress accordingly, as the temperature may drop noticeably after sunset. No umbrellas, please. FATHER JOHN MISTYFather John Misty returns with Chloë and The Next 20th Century, his fifth album and first new material since the release of God’s Favorite Customer in 2018. Chloë and the Next 20th Century was written and recorded August through December 2020 and features arrangements by Drew Erickson. The album sees Tillman and producer/multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Wilson resume their longtime collaboration, as well as Dave Cerminara, returning as engineer and mixer. Basic tracks were recorded at Wilson’s Five Star Studios with strings, brass, and woodwinds recorded at United Recordings in a session featuring Dan Higgins and Wayne Bergeron, among others. Chloë and The Next 20th Century features the singles “Funny Girl,” “Q4,” “Goodbye Mr. Blue,” and “Kiss Me (I Loved You),” and will be available April 8th, 2022 worldwide from Sub Pop and in Europe from Bella Union.
