We’re thrilled to see renewed hope in the community with changes in gun legislation, but we understand there are still fears and concerns about continued gun violence in our communities, including in intimate partner relationships. An issue as deeply rooted as gun violence is in our communities requires continued action through commitment and education. Help us continue the movement against gun violence by joining us at Communities Against Gun Violence—a CORA organized walk in San Mateo. When: Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 5pm Where: 2211 Palm Ave. in San Mateo Who: This is an invitation and call to action to the community--partnership organizations, parents, kids, and other community members who care about this issue. CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to helping those affected by intimate partner abuse. From counseling, to emergency housing, to legal assistance, our services are designed to provide safety, support, and healing.
