Sweethearts and Sorrows is a transparent and intimate exploration of poems about heartbreak, love, loss and healing. Divided into three chapters, it takes readers through the cycle of what it means to endure and persist through dark days. Sweethearts and Sorrows is a collection of raw poetry which examines the journey into womanhood; a journey of making it to see the sun come up after the darkness, and an honest look at letting go. Veronica Jarboe is a California resident, and is the author of “sweethearts and sorrows,” a full length collection of poetry published in 2022, the MicroChap “i tell the finches” with Rinky Dink Press. Some of her other published works can be seen in the Anthology of Young American Writers, Re-Side Magazine, Yours Poetically, Moss Puppy Magazine, The Broken Spine, and Ethel.
