Corey's Pop-Up Disco is a more modern version of the classic disco party. Still built around the original foundations of disco music & culture. Coined for a louder, deeper, more soulful and r&b derived subgenre. (Disco/Post-Disco, House/AfroHouse, R&B/Soul, Jazz/Funk, Early Hip-Hop) Taking inspiration from legendary NYC parties & discotheques of the 70s & 80s like David Mancuso's "The Loft" & Larry Levan's "Paradise Garage" but with a “southern” twist. We encourage self-expression through dance while also serving as an outlet for people who feel unheard, oppressed by society or who simply wants to enjoy a night of social engagement & dancing to music up to 130bpm.
