A diverse coalition of students, artists, and organizations are joining together to co-host a homelessness and human tracking awareness rally and theatre show titled “Never Had a Friend” (NHAF). The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of childhood homelessness and promote the power of art and positive relationships to help folks heal. NHAF is a memoir of how a child survived trauma and homelessness through friendship and performance art. The event will feature and pre-show rally featuring free BBQ, music, giveaways, and special guests. The theatre show features a 60-minute one-man show. The event will be held on World Smile Day!
