"Bike with Badges Family Fun Ride" On Saturday, August 27, from 9 to noon, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund (PC&FPF) will host a “Bike with Badges Family Fun Ride” fundraiser at the Northwest Greenway Pavilion, 5250 Peony Lane, Plymouth, MN. Riders can choose between a three-mile, seven-mile, or eight-mile ride. The ride is $25 for individual riders and $50 for families. Event proceeds will go to the PC&FPF. The PC&FPF is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that was established by residents and business owners in 1977. Its original goal was to raise money to purchase a bulletproof vest for every Plymouth police officer. Forty-four years later, the PC&FPF has have a proud legacy of investing in initiatives that help the community and first responders safe: State-of-the-Art Police and Fire Rescue Equipment Forensic Technologies Police K-9 Program Explorer and Reserve Officer Programs Reward Moneys for the Arrest and Prosecution of Criminals Night to Unite Crime, Fire, and Injury-Prevention Programming Camera Surveillance Equipment Live-Burn Training Site SWAT Training"The ride will be held rain (light) or shine.
