Under the Stars Events to Celebrate the 1st Pictures from the JWST

The LVCM was very honored to be selected, through a NASA application process, to be an “Official NASA Site” to host events to celebrate 1st pictures! We will be kicking off the event with fun for all ages, STEM and art activities to have some fun learning more about the Webb Telescope. At 6pm(on Tuesday the 12th)/ 3:30pm(on Saturday the 16th) we will join a live feed with NASA expert panel to hear the latest information about the pictures and a Q&A portion. The night will end with a special planetarium show! More details to come. NASA’s goal for these community events is that the Webb Telescope will be NASA’s premier observatory instrument for the next decade. It will study every phase in the history of our universe. NASA’s goal is that with the help of LVCM and other organizations that the, Webb’s launch and commissioning will captivate and inspire a new generation of space science enthusiasts, reaching a broader, more diverse audience than ever before. The LVCM wants to continue America’s and NASA’s ongoing goal to promote the next generation to study and learn about the ever-expanding new frontiers of outer space.
