This handsome young guy was wandering our neighborhood on Lower Alarka Rd. in Swain County, just outside of Bryson City last week (6/24-6/29). We posted him on numerous FB pages, but so far no one has claimed him. He was also taken to our vet who confirmed he is not microchipped. He is currently being fostered in our home in Asheville. He's 2-3 years old, neutered, housebroken, does well on a leash, will stay off furniture (unless you invite him on), and appears to be in good health. He is about 40 pounds and just a bit shorter than a full-bred lab. He's a good boy and we want to find him a good home. So, I will ask to do a visit to your home (within 1 hour of Asheville) and there will be a $50 rehoming fee. (We will donate the rehoming fee to the animal shelter/service of your choice.)
