Description

Bring the kids out to for read-aloud books, small-group activities, a DJ, Arts & Crafts, treats and so much more. A Spelling Bee, games and exercises with prizes will be hosted by Queens youth empowerment organization, Lamour Empowers. Families will also receive take-home books and educational materials to support continued learning at home. 5dMedia ( www.5dmedia.org ), the Diversity in Literacy organization, in partnership with Scholastic Books, host Community Literacy events to support families coming together to explore all aspects of literacy in a fun and supportive environment.
