ALO-HA-HA! TROPICAL PARADISE LUNCH & SHOW Bonnie Barchichat’s Senior Comedy Afternoons says “ALOHA” to our next show to be held on July 24th at the Los Verdes Golf Course in the Vista Ballroom at 7000 West Los Verdes Dr. in Rancho Palos Verdes, 90275. Doors Open at Noon, Lunch begins at 12:30, Showtime 1:30. A three course lunch will be served. Tickets are $85 and that’s all inclusive of tax and tip. No tickets will be sold at the door. The comedians are all headliners and our show will be tropically appointed with hula dancers and even a ukulele player to greet you at the door. Our cast of comics include Michael Preminger who has worked with many of the greats as opening acts and even wrote a movie starring Tom Hanks and appeared on Carson many times. James P. Connolly, a Harvard Grad, whose stint in the Marine Corps on a ROTC Scholarship while serving in Desert Storm jump started his career to be on HBO, Comedy Central, and can be heard daily on Sirius XM Comedy Channel. Don McMillan graduated Stanford, with a Masters in Electrical Engineering and is our first comic to have several patents to his credit in addition to his many comedy credits too numerous to list and even won STAR SEARCH, as well as having performed in over 800 shows! But who’s counting right? Our headliner Monica Piper is an Emmy Award winning Golden Globe comedy writer (Roseanne, Mad About You, Veronica’s Closet, Rugrats) with a Showtime Special and is one of the top female comics in the country. Her critically acclaimed one-woman play “Not That Jewish” performed to sell-out crowds in L.A. before a hit run Off-Broadway. In addition to our comedy there are other surprises in store, we do Birthday Celebrations, we have a Mini-Senior Expo, prize drawings, sing-alongs, and believe in the power of positivity in all things aging!
