Processing Support
Trainee for Chem Conversion and Sulfuric Anodizing
Scope: The successful candidate, after training, will be responsible for: reading detailed work orders, purchase orders and drawings, to prepare metal and/or composite parts in preparation to be processed. Will also be responsible for the quality control of the finished product after processing, through to final packaging.
Specific responsibilities after training, depending on position, including but not limited to:
· Prep parts made of metal or composite per required specifications noted on the customer’s purchase order and blueprints.
· Masking parts with various materials, if required.
· Inspection of final product per the customer’s criteria, making crucial decisions for rejection discrepancies and approving the product for final packaging.
Skills and Experience:
· No job specific experience is required, you will be trained.
· Will need attention to detail and the ability to focus on constantly changing daily jobs.
· We will train you on reading part specific blueprints.
· You should be able to identify obstacles and use problem-solving skills to remedy.
· Must have team skills, as everyone has the ability to contribute with their varying degrees of experience and knowledge.
· Help maintain a clean and safe work area.
Physical Demands:
· Able to lift or move 50#.
· Constantly standing, walking, and using fine motor skills.
· You will be in an industrial shop, being exposed to fumes, dust, noise, etc.
