Meals on Wheels Needs Volunteers!

Meals On Wheels is in need of volunteers for the Thornton/Northglenn/Westminster area! We are currently in need of drivers to deliver meals to seniors and home bound people. Deliveries take about 2 hours to do (this includes the time to pick up the food and check out not driving time) and you only need to commit to 1 day a week, even if it's only for a month! Routes are from 9:30-11:30 or 10:30-12:30, and again this is not in driving time. We have openings for everyday of the week right now. No deliveries on the weekends or holidays. Meals on Wheels also has a waitlist of people that need meals delivered to them but we cannot take on these new people until we fill the deliveries for the current families. So we really need your help! Deliveries are for Adams County, so if you have time to volunteer or if you know of anyone that wants to volunteer, PLEASE email me. There is also a monthly $tipend given to our volunteers for gas and we always give you a route that is closest to where you live.
