Junior Craftsman - Contract to Hire - $20/hr

I have an immediate need for a solid human I can work alongside, in a growing residential contracting business. The work includes handyman projects, which run the gamut, so you'll be exposed to pretty much every trade. You will practice and hone skills in finish carpentry, cabinetry, framing, drywall, painting, electric, plumbing, decking, flooring, demolition, and much more. Our work is based mostly in Boulder County, but we sometimes travel to Broomfield, Westminster, and Arvada. I am a relaxed but driven husband, and father of 2 girls. I'm a patient, social, yet serious person, who also loves the Colorado outdoors. I've had my share of terrible bosses over the years, so maintaining a healthy and safe work environment is very important to me, as a business owner. Prior to hiring, we'd have a phone conversation and then meet in person. You're also welcome to talk to one of my team members to get their perspective. The work averages 40 hrs per week, and sometimes the work hours are flexible. $20/hr to begin, with immediate opportunities for increases and bonuses, based on responsibility and performance. If it turns our you're worth $25 or $30/hr, that's what you'll be paid. Candidates must: -Be vaccinated (for various reasons) -Be legally residing in the US -Be fluent in English -Have a valid DL -Have their own transportation -Have their own health insurance (there is no company plan yet) -Have a HS degree or equivalent -Be able to lift 50lbs -Not be afraid of "grunt-work" -Be a non-smoker -Be able to provide character references
