Specialty Plating, Inc in Denver is seeking a part time Lab Technician for our quality and chemical testing. Hours are 6:30 am to 10 am Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities shall be following rigid testing schedule for chemical analysis. Candidate must have strong time management skills to complete monitoring, verifying concentrations, and making small additions to plating solutions. Candidate must be self-directed and have the ability to follow procedures and ask for clarification when needed. Requirements: One year high school chemistry. US Citizen Time of interview: You will be required to read aloud one of our procedures while explain what the procedure is asking you to do. This is for basic comprehension of the position. You will be running two reactions and be evaluated on technique along with analytical skills. SPI is one of the premiere plating houses in Denver. The Lab Technician is responsible for: · Monitor baths temperature and pH daily. · Check with Production Supervisor for process problems. · Keep up with chemical preventive maintenance. · Do analysis – wet titration. · Other duties as assigned as prescribed by Lab Director MINIMUM EDUCATION: One Year high school chemistry with a B in the lab or better.
