We are currently seeking an Installation Project Manager for our Waterworks Services Installation Project team! As an Installation Project Manager you will focus on waterworks products within install projects and ensure the quality and completion of installations are achieved through ongoing collaboration and communication with clients, internal partners, on-site problem solving, and interaction with clients. If you have prior hands-on installation experience, strong organizational & time management skills, are a creative problem-solver and are familiar with construction or waterworks products, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with an industry leading organization. This role is based out of our Redmond, OR office and supports projects in Central & Southern Oregon, with frequent local travel required, up to 90%. A company vehicle is provided, which includes a fuel card, however the incumbent will need to possess or be able to obtain an Oregon state Class B license. Responsibilities: Manages and performs field service and installations and be accountable for work accuracy and compliance. Completing pressure tests, chlorination's, hot-taps, and HDPE welding on water, sewer and storm lines. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts, using hand or power tools. Assist with other work in coordination with repair, installation and maintenance teams. Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure functionality & proper installation practices are used. Verify that all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate. Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines. Assist in directing and coordinating activities of project personnel. Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management team. Maintain proactive efforts to identify and correct issues before they arise, such as job-site walk-throughs and documenting all issues. Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas. Ensure install and service work is completed fully and accurately on or before contract due dates. Maintain accurate scheduled install and delivery dates based on jobsite readiness and schedule Provide regular updates to in-house team on project work including completion rate, service issues, install issues etc. Assist in monitoring project financials, including tracking labor cost, and staff hours. Use detailed company guidelines, performs on-site preventative maintenance, new installation of parts. May also be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers and the sales team in a given discipline(s) including: systems installations, repairs, preventative maintenance and pro-active follow-up. Qualifications: 1+ years of construction industry experience or experience with construction or mechanical installation, or experience operating heavy machinery, preferred Valid CDL Class B license strongly preferred, or willing to obtain Class B license (paid for by Ferguson), required Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language, required Ability to build relationships with existing customers, peers and managers Ability to read and understand product specs Computer savvy including typing, navigating multiple software programs simultaneously and using MS Office tools, required Proven attention to detail coupled with organizational skills Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple, urgent requests Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient Strong time-management skills and ability to function optimally without daily oversight from management Ability to travel locally, up to 90% Ability to effectively operate motorized and/or manual lifting devices Ability to effectively utilize standard hand tools & power tools Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand & 50+ lbs using equipment Ability to walk, bend or squat for extended periods Benefits: As a large, successful company who prides itself on its stability, Ferguson can offer a competitive benefits package which includes the following: medical (two plans to choose from), dental, vision, disability, retirement savings with company match, paid leave (holidays, vacation, sick, personal, and floating holidays), recognition programs, community involvement opportunities, and much more!
