Our front doors were finished with veneer and stained and matched the interior puctures below. Apparently I made a mistake and hired a painter who said he could sand and stain the doors. This was about a year ago and as you see, it looks horrible. I would assume the best thing to do is to redo the exterior veneer (which is beech and then stained).
