Description

I'm offering lessons for crafts like knitting and crocheting, loom jewelry or other jewelry making (beaded, knotted, etc.) and embroidery by hand. The lessons would take place outdoors, usually at a park or school recess area (shady areas). Price per lesson may vary based on materials needed, but a 1 hour class generally costs $25. Extended classes (more than 1 hour) are offered. After the 1st hour the fee per hour may cost less (because the cost of material is included in the first hour's). Please include as much detail as possible in your inquiry. For example, age(s) of child(ren) and which crafts might be of interest to them or any specific project you'd want us to work on. (I am not able to teach in my home as I am renting and my lease states I may not offer classes from my home, however virtual lessons on Zoom are definitely an option!) Parents are welcome to join in or observe if they want. A drop-off or "babysitter" fee per hour (negotiable, based on age) may apply. I am currently working a very flexible schedule based on clients' preference and can offer small group or individual lessons. I don't have an age restriction but generally, age 6 is the earliest a child will be ready to learn. If your child is younger but you feel they are ready, I encourage you to inquire!
