POSITION DETAILS Reports to: Production Lead/Operations Manager Classification: Full-time, 40 hours/week (7a-4p, M-F — occasional overtime may be required) Compensation & Benefits: $34,000/annually Weekly coffee allocation Paid holidays Paid sick/emergency leave (eligible after 90 days) Paid vacation (eligible after 90 days) Health/dental/vision (eligible after 90 days with employer subsidy) Year-end bonus (eligible after 90 days/based on time with company & personal performance) The Production Associate will be self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic; be able to understand the importance of working as a team, as well as independently; and be able to fulfill their responsibilities at the highest level of quality without constant supervision once appropriately trained. Strong organizational & communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, as is a positive attitude, obsessive attention to detail, and ability to make and meet goals. This is a physical working environment with many moving parts that can change without notice. JOB DUTIES Practice and encourage active communication among Production Team Actively participate in day-to-day Production duties, including responsibilities in food safety, cleaning/sanitizing, packaging, order pick & ship, etc. Operate, maintain, clean and sanitize packaging equipment Efficiently, accurately and safely package and label products Load/unload incoming/outgoing shipments Follow all health, safety, cleaning, and quality protocols & guidelines at every step of the production and distribution process according to GMP and FDA standards Keep warehouse and Production areas clean and organized Ask questions of Production Lead/Operations Manager when an answer is unknown Support fellow teammates in order to meet goals and complete tasks accurately & on time Work with Production Lead to assure quality and compliance with Slingshot Coffee Co., Regulatory, and Certification standards Communicate supply needs to Production Lead in a timely manner Other duties as assigned SKILLS REQUIRED Exceptional personal hygiene a must “Devil’s in the Details” mindset Openness to learning and coaching Executing processes “the Slingshot way” Ability to learn quickly, and accurately repeat a given task Impeccable communication both written and verbal Flexibility and adaptability with a positive attitude Acute attention to detail Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours Ability to complete work accurately & unsupervised upon training Ability to accurately follow all instructions and procedures Ability to be and remain self-motivated Ability to comprehend verbal and written direction, and act accordingly Willingness to ask questions to ensure a job gets done right the first time Eagerness to take pride and care in the work, team and product POSITION TO START No later than August 1, 2022 OTHER COMPANY PERKS Monthly employee meal Healthy snacks & beverages HOW TO APPLY Please apply with the following information: Up-to-date resume Three (3) references — two of which must be previous employers A short paragraph about why you want to work at Slingshot Deadline for applications is Friday, July 15, 2022.
