Talented guitarist/singer/songwriter seeking others

I am a guitarist, songwriter and singer seeking other musicians/songwriters in and around Austin to write, record and play shows. My goal is to get a band together, do some home recordings, play live and eventually record an album in one of the many great studios here or around Texas. The ideal group I have in mind would be a 5 piece with two guitarist/singers who can both play rhythm and lead, keyboards, bass and drums. Could also be a 4 piece with just me on guitar, but definitely need a great drummer and bass player and would like to have keys in there. I know someone who can probably fill that role, but I am open to meeting anyone talented. Some bands I'm influenced by, in no particular order: Wilco, Sam Roberts Band, Zep, Stones, Beatles, Dead Meadow, Jonathan Wilson, Sunstack Jones, The Old 97s, Stephen Malkmus and many others. Also soul/jazz like Jimmy Smith, Les McCann etc and funk like The Meters, New Mastersounds. I have many original songs and would like to play some good covers as well, but primarily original music and love to write and record.
