Industrial Source/National Fire Fighter Corp., is a 3rd generation family-owned, dynamic company and a recognized leader in welding/industrial supplies & fire protection services. One of our talented drivers is relocating to California and we’re hiring to replace his work as a full time Delivery Driver to complete our Medford Distribution Team. Shift is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. This position’s focus is on safely operating a Class B delivery truck to deliver compressed industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as industrial/welding equipment and supplies to customer locations throughout the Portland metro area. Steel cylinders are heavy. Must be able to lift 75lbs. This position loads/unloads delivery trucks, assists with maintaining fill plant organization, and maintains accurate cylinder inventory through use of bar code scanning of cylinders. Daily route delivery, no overnight travel, home every night. Skills needed: safe driving record, pro-active communication, teamwork, customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy of data. We’re looking for someone who can be flexible, agile, and willing to adjust when customers need us. If you are a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to prioritize own workload, work independently, and exercise independent decision-making all while maintaining safety and regulatory agency standards, this job is for you. Dependability….the ability to arrive at work on time, each day, ready to work…is critical. Class B CDL with hazmat and air brakes endorsements is preferred, as well as current medical card.
