Midwest Property Services is a building maintenance and repair company looking for Construction/Handyman individuals to add to our team that strives on the quality workmanship we provide to our clients. We provide general repairs for townhomes, condominiums, residential homes and commercial buildings. Remodeling job duties include painting, drywall repair, and installing floors and windows. Your maintenance responsibilities involve solving basic electrical and plumbing issues, as well as ensuring interior and exterior structural components are safe and in good condition, such as siding and sidewalks. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, and should be proficient with hand and power tools. Previous experience working as an electrician or in carpentry is a plus. Company Vehicle provided to dispatch to job sites. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the home repair industry, having experience in majority or all fields of general maintenance repairs which includes electrical repairs, minor plumbing, painting, drywall work, wood replacement, roofing repairs, snow removal, and general knowledge of construction. Tech Duties & Responsibilities Drywall repairs and painting interior and exterior. Help with tile or flooring installation Assist with trim carpentry on interior and exterior. Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance. Alert management and tenants to scheduled maintenance or remodeling Snow Removal Handyman Requirements and Qualifications Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools Flexible schedule Mechanical aptitude Contractor or journeyman license is a plus Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record Must be able to move and climb 24–32-foot extension ladders.
