R&S Waste Disposal is actively hiring Residential Drivers. This role will serve the Guthrie Center, IA, and Defiance, IA areas. As a Residential Driver, you will operate heavy-duty trucks to collect residential household waste/yard material. Drivers transport the material to a disposal or transfer facility once the load capacity is reached. Job Duties: • Safely maneuver the vehicle in residential environments • Navigate high-traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and document checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) • Immediately report all unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch • Operate the vehicle in accordance with company policy, OSHA, and DOT requirements as well as all local, state, and federal Job Requirements: • Class A or Class B CDL with an air-brake endorsement preferred: must have the ability to obtain CDL, if not already obtained prior to employment • Authorized to work in the United States • Experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent experience such as farm or military equipment R&S Waste Disposal is eager to add new team members!
