OP/BS You can spin it all you want, but the *real* issue is guns are too easy to get in America. Sure you can say it's not the gun it's the person, but *that* person was able to get *that* gun the same day s/he started shooting. People with previous violent run-ins with police, etc. are getting weapons without any trouble. THAT'S the biggest problem with guns. That and the types of guns available. So fix that and let's see if it helps with these situations. But the GOP doesn't even want to go that far. THAT'S how much money they are being paid behind the scenes. So yea, these deaths and mass shootings can largely be attributed to Republicans not wanting to go against the money. Oh and to the wannabe constitutional lawyers, the 2nd amendment only guarantees you a gun *if* you're part of a militia being used to defend the United States. I could not agree more that this nut should not have been able to get a gun. It turns out that he was not able to buy a gun so his father signed to get him one. The kid threatened to kill his parents and to kill himself and posted his deathwish all over social media. And instead of getting his kid some help his loving dad cosigned for a gun. And that is the guns fault? You want to take away our rights cuz of a mentally ill kid and his dumb fucking father? What this proves is that the government can not protect us from nuts with guns. EVERY democrat run city has the strictest gun laws and they have the most gun violence and deaths. So what the dems want to do is defund the police and install crazy leftist DAs that let violent criminals back out on the street to murder and rape more innocent victims and then they want to take your guns away so that you can not defend yourself against the violent criminals that they just let out of jail. But it is the big bad republicans that are to blame? Sorry jackass, it does give you a right to own a gun just cuz you want one.
