Masonry Superintendent Houston, TX Masonry construction company is currently seeking a Masonry Superintendent, a candidate with a strong sense of initiative, who is excited by the possibilities of a growing company. Position: Masonry Superintendent The Masonry Superintendent coordinates operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. The Superintendent must have a solid background of in field experience, an ability to direct the work of others and present solutions quickly. Candidate must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans • Allocate general and daily responsibilities • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment • Resolve problems when they arise • Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. The ideal candidate should possess: • A valid driver’s license • 5+ Years Masonry/Construction experience preferred • Supervises crew members and carries out supervisory responsibilities to include; planning, assigning, directing work and completes required paperwork in a timely manner • Communicates effectively and professionally with owner s representatives, general contractors, inspectors, architects, employers, employees, and vendors • Reads blueprints and follows plans and materials lists to ensure project is executed accordingly • Inspects work in progress to ensure all workmanship conforms to specifications, the adherence to construction schedules and manages job site organization and cleanliness to professional standards Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life Insurance • 401K • Bonus • Vacation Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Locations: • Houston & surrounding locations Email your resume to: Human Resources Manager ***We are an equal opportunity employer***
