ABOUT US: Bay Area Movers, Inc. is a moving and storage company in the Hampton Roads area. We exclusively transport the household goods of our military. POSITION AVAILABLE: HELPERS FOR BOTH DELIVERY CREWS AND PICK-UP CREWS. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a strong work ethic. • Must be dependable with the ability to work, and be on time, every day Monday-Friday. *DEPENDABILITY IS OF THE UPMOST IMPORTANCE!!! • Must present oneself in a professional manner and exhibit strong communication skills. • Must be able to work as a team to complete the assigned job. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lay down runners to protect flooring throughout residence. • Delivery Helper - Assist in all aspects of the delivery including, but not limited to moving boxes & furniture from the truck to the residence, removing paper or other wrapping from all furniture, unpacking boxes at customer’s request, reassembling furniture at customer’s request and removal of all debris associated with said move. • Pick-Up Helper (experience required) – Disassemble and wrap furniture. Carry furniture and boxes out to truck for Loader to load into crates.
