ABOUT US: Bay Area Movers, Inc. is a moving and storage company in the Hampton Roads area. We exclusively transport the household goods of our military. POSITION AVAILABLE: LOADER QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a strong work ethic. • Must be dependable with the ability to work, and be on time, every day Monday-Friday. *DEPENDABILITY IS OF THE UPMOST IMPORTANCE!!! • Must present oneself in a professional manner and exhibit strong communication skills. • Must be able to work as a team to complete the assigned job. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly RESPONSIBILITIES: • Initially assist in all aspects of the pick-up including, but not limited to, disassembling furniture, wrapping furniture correctly and moving boxes & furniture from the residence to the truck. • Loading the items into the crates to achieve the best density possible. You MUST have previous experience as a loader to be considered for this position. • Communicate with crew member in a constructive manner to ensure items are disassembled and wrapped correctly as to aid in achieving both a high density and low shift during transit to eliminate potential claims.
