Equipment Cleaner- 2nd Shift, $17+ per hour

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager and in coordination with the Operations Manager, the 2nd shift Equipment Cleaner is responsible for the daily cleaning maintenance and upkeep of the recyclable materials sorting system throughout the Materials Recovery Facility. Open to both full-time or part-time applicants. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Remove debris from rotating components · Clear platforms of built-up material · Clean camera and lighting windows in sorting equipment · Empty blower catch basins · Blow out motors, fans, and AC unit radiators · Maintain orderliness of work area OTHER DUTIES · Assist Baler operator (as needed) · Operate Forklift to move material or unload trucks · Assist in larger maintenance projects i.e. repair/replace belt, replace bearings, etc. QUALIFICATIONS · Basic understanding of moving equipment · Able to work in confined spaces · Safe use of power tools · Spanish proficiency preferred, though not required PAY/BENEFITS · Hourly rate starting at $17.00 + weekly performance bonus · Health, Vision, Dental and supplemental insurances offered after 90 days · Paid time off, vacation, and paid holidays · IRA matching · some flexibility with shift start/end time
