Studio Event Staffing is a Westchester county - based Staffing Agency with over 10 years of experience, specializing in hospitality staffing.
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for market growth / new business. The Business Development Representative works directly with operations to ensure that the hiring needs of our clients and the contract employees payroll expectations are met.
JOB DESCRIPTION
*Perform all sales and service functions for targeted markets
*Outside solicitation/Cold calls of new clientele
*Heavy phone calls and follow-ups, email contacts
*Unexpected drop-bys, services calls, proposal calls, and trade show meetings.
*Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and recommend candidates.
*Prepare, calculate and negotiate bill rates with clients.
*Growth Focused- Achieve revenue growth by winning new business.
*Targeted Maintain and adjust a full target list using all available resources.
*Deliberate Sets and conducts well-prepared meetings with decision-makers. Asking the appropriate questions to qualify, drive value, and win business.
*Profit Minded Maximizes profitability by negotiating bill rates and terms.
*Relationship-Oriented Builds and maintains business relationships throughout the sales cycle.
REQUIREMENTS
*Valid driver s license and company required car insurance coverage
*Reliable transportation
*High School Diploma or GED
*Outside sales experience preferred
*A sense of urgency
*Light computer experience required
*Ability to prepare rate quotes, proposals, and follow-up letters
*Experience with maintaining sales quotas and heavy phone contact
*Experience in Temporary Staffing required. Management experience preferred.

*Monday thru Friday
Part time to start
SUPPLEMENTAL PAY:
*Bonus pay
Work from home. Must be able to travel.
