STEM Builders: Toothpick Tower (SESSION 2: 1:30PM)

Description

This challenge encourages the design mindset and supports basic engineering principles. Participants will be placed in teams. Each team is given a handful of supplies to work with — straws, tape, and string — and tasked to build the tower that can SUPPORT the most weight in the bucket. Challenge : Participants will design and build a structure using only toothpicks & modeling clay. They will be challenge to bring their vision to live through the design & build phase with limited materials. Supplies (Provided by SK Technology Center): ToothpicksModeling Clay
