There are easy basic natives that we can utilize in our PNW gardens, along with improved cultivars of native plants called Nativars, that can be useful options for your home landscape. There are lots of great native plant options to choose from, along with even more nativars choices - natives that breeders have taken and tweaked to bloom longer, grow tidier, have more colorful foliage and be more disease resistant.  The result, less water needed, less maintenance required, and improved wildlife benefit.  Join our very own Trevor Cameron, C.P.H.
