The Black Girls Don’t Get Love Prom is a FREE formal event that is specifically designed to celebrate and acknowledge girls of color, ages 13-25, in the CNY community. We want this to be a night to remember for our girls, where they feel special, not because of who asked them to the event, but because of who they are. We'll have a DJ, live music, catered meal, photo booth, raffles, and more. Come dressed in your formal ballroom attire and ready to have a great night with the girls. Registration is required. NEED A PROM DRESS? We have one for you! Join us on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 at the CNY Philanthropic Center (431 E Fayette St.) for a staged reading of the Black Girls Don’t Get Love book and a prom-dress giveaway. You can also get a free prom dress from Becca's Closet between 1-2 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
