Description

We are so happy to welcome you to the start of our thirteenth season at Next Barn Over Farm. Crops are growing beautifully this spring and we have a gorgeous selection to share with you this week. After a spring full of preparation, it's exciting to be at this point in the season. We are grateful to the plants, the soil, our amazing crew, and to you! Thanks for joining us in this collective effort to feed our community and loved ones heartily, and to foster meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships with the land and each other. Your ticket purchase includes: 1 Participation in the CSA for groups/families taking home a small share (feeds 1-2 adults for a week) 1 Raffle Ticket for our "Easy Like Sunday Morning Raffle Basket" with a retail value of $75 (winning ticket pulled that day at 1pm - winners will be contacted via their phone number written on the ticket) 1 NBO Canvas Tote Bag Access to Pick your own Flowers for your entire group Parking: There is ample parking for members in the lot on the south side of the u-pick field (the lot on the opposite side of the field from the barn). The parking spots close to the barn are reserved for our members who need closer access because of their particular physical abilities and for farm vehicles only. Checking in at the share room: Please bring a printed copy of your Eventbrite confirmation with you to the barn. This is your ticket and you cannot participate without it. A friendly staff member will be at the share barn desk and can assist with any questions you may have. U-pick: For those of you who are new to the farm, the field right next to the barn is dedicated entirely to pick-your-own crops: herbs, flowers, sugar snap peas, green beans, cherry tomatoes, small sweet peppers, and strawberries in the lower meadow below. (This 2-acre field is just one of our 15 different fields around Hadley, which together make up a total of the 50 acres or so that we farm). We will provide bags and pint baskets but ask that you bring your own scissors and vessels for flowers (yogurt containers and mason jars work well). The Farm Store: We have local products in the farm shop available for you to purchase when you pick up your share. We accept all major credit cards, cash, check, and venmo! Kids and Safety: The farm is a wonderful place for children but it can be dangerous with tractors, cars, and trucks pulling in and out of the lot and poison ivy. Always keep an eye on your little ones. Masks aren't required, but feel free to wear one if it makes you comfortable.
