There are many types of Breathwork. The type that will be practiced pairs a breathing pattern with upbeat, positive music to access the subconscious mind to release any stored memories, emotions, stagnant energy, and trauma that might be trapped in the body. It’s essential to release these energetic blocks in the body to strengthen intuition, have more energy, improve mental health, heal the physical body, and become clear about our deepest desires. ***How to prepare*** ⁃ Please come 10-15 minutes early to get settled in. ⁃ Wear comfortable clothing. You may want to layer as you may experience getting hot and/or cold. ⁃ Bring something to lie down on (ex: yoga mat) and maybe a pillow and blanket in case want to cover up. Other things that you can bring are crystals, journal, socks, oils, etc. ⁃ It can be difficult to breathe on a full tummy. Try to avoid eating 1-2 hours before. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Breathwork can result in physical and emotional release. Please take note of the contraindications of breathwork. If you experience any of these, please consult your healthcare provider before you participate in this work.
