The Education is Power Summit is a three-day convening focused on the impact that educational choice/opportunity can have on educational empowerment and educational liberation. Our goal for the Education Is Power Summit is to provide attendees with the following: Exposure to national dialogue/conversations around educational opportunity Tools and insights for local clergy/faith leaders on how they can inform their congregations/immediate communities about educational options in Indianapolis and become stronger voices in the education space. Education and information for parents on how to advocate on behalf of their children for access to educational options and provide them with insights on what educational options are available to them in Indianapolis We're bringing in a few of our friends like The 8 Black Hands Podcast, Pastor Michael Phillips, the 3X Dope Podcast and others to discuss the role of Clergy/Faith Leaders in education, the power of parent agency, and other national educational topics. The Summit also includes two Symposiums targeted towards Clergy/Faith Leaders and Parents to dive a little deeper and provide a focused training on issues around educational choice/opportunity and parent organizing.
