This free concert is part of the Utah Valley Children’s Choir tour of Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. The 150-member group has spent the year preparing musically & financially to go on this mini-mission to sing for the Lord. Children ranging in age from 9 to 18 present sacred music & narrative commemorating the divine mission of Jesus Christ. The Concert Choir brings together the top voices from the 400 children participating in the Utah Valley Children’s Choir music education program. Concert Choir members are placed by audition and have a serious time and energy commitment to making quality music that invites the Spirit of the Lord. Most children in the Concert Choir have been singing in the program for at least 6 years, with some as long as sixteen. They have toured North America and England the last twenty years. The children are excited to share their testimonies of Jesus Christ with the Lubbock community.
