Please join the Austin Fiber Artists for our annual Open House. Meet for fun with fiber with others who have the same interests. We’ll have…. ACTIVITIES: • Make puffy woven hearts that can be hung as ornaments or contain a small item. • Make fabric collage peace flags to wish the world well or just brighten someone’s day. ATTRACTIONS: • Take home some FREE fiber treasures at the donation table. • Or put out stuff you’ve been meaning to pass on to an appreciative home. • See the show-and-tell items in person and learn more about fiber techniques. SPECIAL GUEST ATTRACTION: • The Stuffed Animal Rescue Foundation’s adoptable rescues will be on display- meet the S.A.R.F. founder Wendy and learn about her (fiber arts based) work! • Check out Wendy’s fun action videos on youtube- search for S.A.R.F or go to www.thesarf.org REFRESHMENTS: • Light summer refreshments to socialize with on a hot July evening.
