We are a reputable commercial and residential glass shop in the South Bay area. Helper skills required:  High school diploma, written and verbal English skills.  Physical fitness to carry, lift and hold glass or windows alone or with help.  Ability to comfortably and safely work on ladders, scaffolding and lifts.  California drivers license with a record acceptable to our insurance.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment.  Respect of co-workers and customers.  Work independently and with a team. Skills You Will Learn:  Replacement and new construction; window and door installation skills.  Framed and frameless showers installation.  IG replacement.  Glass guardrail installation.  Glass fabrication (occasional) cutting, grinding.  Ability to measure for replacement or new glass products.  And More! Summary: You will be working with a lead glazier who must perform the safe and successful installations of tub and shower enclosures, various glass, mirrors, windows, doors, skylights, handrails in commercial and residential settings. They will instruct you on proper procedure and ensure your safety while you learn these new skills. Helpers should be willing to learn and expand their industry knowledge and responsibilities. Job Type: Part time 2-3 days during the week. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, sick pay, accrued paid vacation after probation.
