We are seeking experienced, reliable, compassionate, and fit respite care providers to join the Beta launch of our mobile application to support children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, examples include but are not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Conditions, in the San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo areas. ------ HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO; Examples of duties include, but are not limited to: • Personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and outdoor activities when appropriate. • Ensure safety. Provide physical and emotional support and opportunities for relationship building, and life expansion HERE’S WHY YOU’LL LOVE JOINING US: • Autonomy to set your own schedule based on your availability. • Self-selected rates based on your experience and education. • Collect payment 24 hours after completion of the appointment with Direct Deposit* • Review and accept requests directly from the mobile app. • Your pick from a large database of parents and families in need, where you will feel rewarded by the positive impact you are making on their lives every day. *Subject to review after booking has been completed MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to comply with local and/or federal regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccination • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Psychology preferred. An associate’s degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a related degree is acceptable. • Proof of negative TB test • Effective oral and written communication skills • Must clear a Background Check • Non-smoker • Must be 18 years old or older PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: • CPR and First Aid Certification • ID compliant with I-9 requirements • Reliable means of transportation • Two references - able to verify disability-related experience • Valid Driver's license with two years’ experience driving and a clean driving record. • Applicants are preferred to have previous experience as a caregiver, support worker, social service setting, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. *Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply!
