Join members and guests in exploring the art of creating a beautiful succulent/waterwise garden to add color and dimension to your home gardens. Not only will you enjoy the eclectic nature, color and beauty of succulents -- but you'll love the reduced maintenance and water usage. Jeff Moore is returning to our club to show us steps on creating a new, or augmenting an existing, residential succulent landscape. His presentation will provide examples of succulent-themed installations, highlight some of the best succulents to use, and provide you with insight into ultimate size, repetitions, use of rocks and boulders, etc. Drought-tolerant, non-succulent compatible plants will also be shown and discussed. There will be some of Jeff's books and plants available for sale before or after the talk. Jeff Moore is the owner of Solana Succulents, a small retail succulent nursery that has been at the same location on Coast Highway 101 in Solana Beach for 30 years. In addition to selling plants at the nursery, Jeff has installed many succulent gardens for clients as well as installations at the Del Mar Fair and Home Shows for many years. He has published five books on succulents, the most recent focusing on the genus agave.
